Tickets for SH-Tarif

When you travel by bus and/or train you are required to carry a valid ticket. There is a 60 euro fine for failing to do so. Please have your ticket ready for inspection at all times.

You can purchase a bus ticket in advance at the ticket outlet or directly from the bus driver. Please board the bus always at the front and show your ticket to the bus driver without being asked to.

You have to buy a train ticket before boarding the train. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines, ticket outlets, or DB (Deutsche Bahn) travel centres at the train stations. The train ticket is also valid for travelling by bus at your starting location and your destination.

You can find an overview of all the ticket outlets at www.nah.sh/verkaufsstellen.

Note: If possible, please have the exact fare ready. Ticket machines and bus drivers can only give change to a limited extent.
